You will experience an Oktoberfest unlike other more ‘typical’ experiences. This celebration will be more traditional, culturally immersive and more family-friendly.
The experience takes place in the Boandlkramerei tent (“the Musicians’ tent”) located within the Oide Weisen (“Old Oktoberfest”), which is turn located at the southern end of the grounds of the Munich Oktoberfest (Theresienwiese). Please consider that if from the Oide Weisen you wish to access the main Oktoberfest grounds, an extra EUR 4.00 /per person fee is payable.
The Oide Weisen is a festival that emphasizes the traditional character of the Oktoberfest with brass music and historical attractions. It is more child and family friendly than the main Oktoberfest taking place nearby.
